Emily Marie Rea

Emily Marie Rea, a 33-year-old woman from West Glacier, Montana, went missing on July 16, 2024, after going paddleboarding alone at Hungry Horse Reservoir in Flathead County. Her vehicle, a black 2011 Honda CR-V, was found at the Riverside Boat Launch the following day, and her paddleboard was discovered upside down a few miles away, but her phone and life jacket remain missing.
Extensive search efforts by the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, Search and Rescue teams, helicopters, drones, and divers have yielded no significant leads. The family has also engaged a private investigator and initiated petitions to involve federal agencies.
The community has actively supported the search, organizing events such as a “paddle-out” in her honor to raise awareness. As of now, Emily Rea remains missing, and her disappearance is still unsolved.
