Evidence management is a critical part of case investigation.

**Uploading Evidence:**

1. Open your case
2. Click "Add Evidence" or "Upload Files"
3. Select files from your computer
4. Add descriptions and tags
5. Click "Upload"

**Supported File Types:**

- Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF
- Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT
- Video: MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM
- Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A

**File Size Limits:**

- Free: Up to 10MB per file
- Basic: Up to 25MB per file
- Premium: Up to 100MB per file

**Organizing Evidence:**

**Use Tags:**
Add descriptive tags to make evidence searchable:
- Type (photo, document, recording)
- Source (witness, surveillance, forensics)
- Subject (victim, suspect, location)

**Add Descriptions:**
Include context for each piece of evidence:
- When it was obtained
- Who provided it
- What it shows
- Why it's relevant

**Create Folders:**
Organize evidence into logical groups:
- Photos
- Witness Statements
- Forensic Reports
- Timeline Documents

**Viewing Evidence:**

- Click any evidence file to view it
- Use the gallery view for photos
- Download files for offline access
- Share evidence with team members

**Security:**

All evidence files are:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Access-controlled by case permissions
- Backed up automatically
- Audit-logged for accountability

**Tips:**

- Upload evidence as soon as you receive it
- Use consistent naming conventions
- Add metadata while details are fresh
- Regularly review and organize files
- Remove duplicates to save storage
