Ms. Romedy was reported missing the morning of March 1, 2002. She was last seen at her residence at 430 Weisenbaker Road, Apartment 1, Rincon, Georgia in Effingham County. Her abandoned vehicle, a 1997 four-door Plymouth Breeze, was found two days later at the Fair Oaks Apartments off of Weisenbaker Road about a mile from her residence.
